Surface geology and basin context
Outcrop facies provide a bridge between surface geology and well-log interpretation. Seeps, basin analysis and source-rock modeling place reservoir observations within a wider geological setting.
How we work
INNEX California Inc. combines the experience to see the opportunity, the technical skill to understand it, and the judgment to develop it.
The approach
INNEX California Inc. connects oil, natural gas, solar and geothermal within one California campus development strategy. The value beneath remains our technical foundation: returning to overlooked data and interpreting it with experience to identify missed-pay opportunities.
Begin with outcrops and surface seeps, geological mapping and basin analysis.
Bring together well logs and cores, geochemistry, seismic interpretation, production history and legacy field data.
Connect reservoir characterization and recovery strategy with asset evaluation and project economics.
Translate technical interpretation into field development and practical execution, with decisions grounded in evidence.
Geology, data and interpretation
Technical evaluation connects the evidence visible in the field with the measurements recorded below it. These methods bring geological context to the practical questions of reservoir behavior, completion design and recovery.
Outcrop facies provide a bridge between surface geology and well-log interpretation. Seeps, basin analysis and source-rock modeling place reservoir observations within a wider geological setting.
Well logs, cores, capillary-pressure measurements and test data offer complementary views of the subsurface. Read together, they support discovery and evaluation, completion decisions, and the assessment of primary, secondary and tertiary recovery.
Alluvial fans and fluvial systems, incised valleys, estuarine submarine canyons, basin-floor fans and deep-water deposition each provide a different reservoir context. Source rocks and fractured reservoirs add further dimensions to interpretation.
Connecting outcropping oil fields to subsurface production brings geology and reservoir engineering into the same discussion. Acquisition, development and prospect evaluation draw on these relationships rather than on a single isolated measurement.
